Yoann and Josh met with a shared goal of launching YJCollective, an impact-driven freelance collective. They teamed up with a designer and app engineer freelancers and quickly secured their first project with Glide Utilities, helping students reduce energy costs. This successful collaboration marked the start of a journey focused on driving meaningful change through innovative partnerships.

As the collective grew to a dozen freelancers, we uncovered key challenges faced by startups—lack of senior expertise, trouble hiring flexible talent, and struggles with building the right product. At the same time, we helped many professionals transition into fractional consulting and part-time freelancing, offering a solution to both startups and independent talent.
